Dubai Internet City champions global partnerships to bolster future digital economy at GITEX Global
Dubai, UAE, 14 October 2025: Dubai Internet City, the Middle East’s leading tech hub, is championing cross-border cooperation and partnerships to shape the future digital economy, at GITEX Global 2025, taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre on 13-17 October.
The district, part of TECOM Group PJSC, has returned as Knowledge Partner of GITEX Global, to continue attracting global partners to its vibrant community, which has added AED 100 billion to Dubai’s GDP over the past 15 years and facilitated more than 125,000 jobs to date.

As the region’s leading technology hub, Dubai Internet City is showcasing its pivotal role in building the digital economy of tomorrow at GITEX Global. The cornerstone of regional digital transformation, the district is today home to 4,000 customers and more than 31,000 professionals, as well as 20 Innovation and R&D Centres operated by global leaders such as Hisense, Visa, Mastercard, SAP, Google, and 3M.
The hub is a magnet for leaders across vital tech sectors, such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, cybersecurity, and big data. Its growing community includes Oracle, which earlier in October expanded its presence at Dubai Internet City with the launch of a world-class Customer Experience Centre featuring its reimagined Zayed Innovation Hub, one of the first AI-dedicated hubs launched in the UAE. PayPal, the global digital commerce platform, also opened its first ever regional headquarters in the Middle East and Africa at Dubai Internet City in April.
At GITEX Global, Dubai Internet City is spotlighting innovators redefining the regional technology landscape, showcasing companies such as integration platform as a service company Boomi, and AI-enabled customer engagement specialist Wittify, part of in5, Dubai’s leading start-up incubator launched by TECOM Group in 2013.
