DIC announced the Innovation Hub on its 15th anniversary in support of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision of an innovation-led economy.
1.8 million square feet is set aside to create a vibrant community of innovators exploring new ideas in technology, new media, smart education and the sciences. The new business park is at the heart of Dubai’s premier commercial zones, and adjacent to the Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City and Knowledge Village.
The centrepiece of the Innovation Hub is a massive cluster of communications and technology facilities. Meanwhile, boutique offices rub shoulders with commercial spaces, retail offerings and hospitality developments in a carefully laid out master plan.
Phase 1 will be delivered in 2017. When fully completed in 2019, the Hub’s 15,000 strong workforce will be part of a community that facilitates idea creation, networking, knowledge sharing and dynamic industry events.
